WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two years ago today, a gunman shot eight people in Half Moon Bay, killing seven and injuring one. Congressman Sam Liccardo – who represents Half Moon Bay – released the following statement:

Liccardo is one of only three new members to join the roster, and one of only two first-term Democratic members to receive an appointment to one of the four powerful “exclusive” committees (Ways & Means, Appropriations, Energy & Commerce, and Financial Services).
