Internships
Both internship programs run throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' course schedules but generally run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Interns' responsibilities will include answering phones, assisting with front office duties, conducting tours, and researching legislation. Interns will learn about the legislative process and the many other functions of a Congressional office. Applicants should possess excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
District Office
Interns' responsibilities will include assisting with day-to-day office administrative work such as answering phones, drafting official correspondence, and staffing District events. Interns may also be assigned to assist with various kinds of constituent casework or with district-based projects of importance.
