Youth Advisory Committee

Youth Advisory Committee 2025-26

The CA-16 Youth Advisory Committee brings together high school juniors and seniors interested in making an impact in their community by partnering with our office to advance Congressman Liccardo’s policy priorities. Students work collaboratively with peers from across our district, meet directly with Congressman Liccardo and his staff, and hone their analytical and communication skills. 

The Committee holds monthly meetings from September through June. Applicants for the program must: 

  • Be high school juniors or seniors residing or attending school in the 16th Congressional District. 
  • Not sure if you’re a constituent? Check here. 
  • Attend and participate in mandatory meetings on the first Monday of every month. Some meetings will be in-person and others virtual.   
  • Participate meaningfully in additional group and independent work outside of required meetings. 
  • Be responsible, enthusiastic, and dedicated to collaborating with peers and Congressman Liccardo’s staff in a respectful and timely manner.
