Sam Liccardo (CA-16) pressed Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner for answers on the Trump Administration’s decision to cut billions in permanent supportive housing services in the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program. The Continuum of Care program and its investments in permanent supportive housing ensure that those most at risk can receive supportive services and have a roof over their heads.
SAN JOSÉ, CA—Congressman Sam Liccardo (CA-16) has called on the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) to keep open the only commissary serving Bay Area servicemembers, veterans, and their families. Located at Moffett Federal Airfield, the site provides vital access to affordable groceries, with the next nearest commissary nearly 75 miles away. The Administration has proposed to permanently close the commissary.
