Liccardo Responds to Reports of a Rumored White House ACA Extension Plan

WASHINGTON, DC – In response to reports that the White House is preparing its own proposal to address the looming expiration of ACA tax credits, Rep. Sam Liccardo — author of the only bipartisan, deficit-reducing plan to extend those credits, the Fix It Act — released the following statement:

“Now that the President has finally expressed a willingness to do something, we’re ready to negotiate a plan that actually lowers costs and keeps Americans covered.  We have bipartisan solutions, like the Fix It Act, that enable us to address skyrocketing premiums, keep Americans insured, and pay for itself by cutting waste and fraud.”
